Intimacy Coordinator
Cathy Walsh is an Ireland and Berlin-based Intimacy Coordinator and dance artist. After studying theatre and dance in Ireland, Cathy chose to move to Berlin to see what all the fuss was about and began exploring the world of conscious kink and BDSM as well as the contemporary dance scene. She expanded into technical theatre, working as a stage and production manager, and lighting technician. She has choreographed her own works and collaborated with many others. She is the co-founder of Pleasure an improvisation performance group. Cathy's artistic focus is in creating participatory experiences that invite the audience to participate in creating an intimate exchange together with the performers.
Cathy completed her intimacy coordinator training in 2025 with Safe Sets (SA/UK). Safe Sets is a qualified SAG-AFTRA accredited training program for Intimacy Coordinators and has met the requirements for curriculum and trainer experience.
